Base Camp #1

About the Tournament

Base Camp #1 is a tournament designed for new Pokémon Champions players. The goal of this event is not to determine a winner, but to gain experience and learn the fundamentals of tournament play. The event runs at a relaxed pace and is a good opportunity to play your first matches and ask questions.

Before and during the tournament, organizers, judges, and especially New Player Experience staff will be available. They can help with procedural questions such as submitting a teamlist, checking in, reporting results, and more. NPE staff are here to support you and will be happy to answer your questions.

Registration

1. Register using the Limitless platform here.
2. Submit your teamlist on the same platform.
3. Join our Discord and follow tournament announcements.
4. Remember to check in before the start.
5. If you have any questions — ask. We’re here to help.

Player limit: 16 players | Additional participants will be placed on a waiting list.

Before the Tournament

• A Limitless account is required to participate;
• Pairings will be published on Limitless;
• Communication with opponents takes place there;
• Check-in is required before the tournament and before each round;
• Players report results on Limitless themselves;
• If you encounter a problem, use Request a Judge or notify us on Discord.

Registration: until 16:45

Check-in: 16:45 – 17:00

Start: 17:00

Subsequent rounds begin automatically after the previous round ends.

After the Tournament

A few days after the tournament, we will host a follow-up meeting on Discord.

During the meeting:

• we will review selected matches;
• analyze player decisions;
• answer questions.

Participation is optional and open to everyone. However, we will focus on matches played during the tournament, and participants will have priority. Anyone is welcome to join and listen.
